Enemy attacks caused new power outages in 5 regions - Ukrenergo

On the night of Wednesday, February 3, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of several regions of Ukraine, which caused power outages for consumers in the Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions, in addition, 16 settlements in the Odesa Region remain without power due to bad weather.

This was announced by the press service of the national energy company Ukrenergo, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that last night the russian occupiers attacked the energy infrastructure in several regions.

As a result, as of this morning, consumers in the Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions are without power.

Wherever security conditions allow, emergency restoration work is already underway.

In addition, due to difficult weather conditions, 16 settlements in the Odesa Region remained completely or partially without electricity in the morning.

Emergency restoration work on damaged lines is being carried out by specialists from the local regional power company.

Ukrenergo also reported that today, hourly outage schedules are being applied in all regions of Ukraine for all categories of consumers, as well as power limitation schedules for industry.

Due to the difficult situation in the power system, emergency power outages were forced to be applied in some regions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of February 2, consumers in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy Regions were without electricity as a result of russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
