Due to the massive russian attack on February 3, a significant number of consumers in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa Regions are without power. There are also damaged power facilities in several regions. This is reported by Ukrenergo.

"Everywhere the security situation allows, emergency restoration work is already underway. Energy professionals are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible," the report says.

In some regions, emergency shutdowns were forced to be applied today, which will be canceled immediately after the situation in the energy system stabilizes, energy professionals say.

Consumption

Electricity consumption decreased. On the morning of February 3, its level was 7.9% lower than at the same time the previous day - on Monday. The reason for the changes is a significant number of consumers who lost power as a result of the massive hostile attack.

Consequences of bad weather

Due to difficult weather conditions (ice and icing of power lines), 68 settlements in three regions - Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson - were completely or partially without electricity by morning. Repair teams of the regional energy company are working to restore the damaged lines.
