Police receive 2,000 reports of mining of facilities throughout Ukraine, almost third of them already processed
As of 12:10 pm on Friday, the National Police units received more than 2,000 reports of mining in Kyiv and 21 regions, currently 30% of the reports have already been processed, information about mining at these facilities has not been confirmed.
This is stated in a message on the official website of the National Police, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on January 30, starting from 09:30 am, mass reports about mining of buildings belonging to them began to arrive at the e-mail addresses of state authorities, local governments, educational institutions, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banking institutions, entertainment establishments and other facilities.
As of 12:10 pm, police units had received more than 2,000 reports of mining in Kyiv and the following regions: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv.
"Currently, almost 30% of the reports have already been processed. The information has not been confirmed at these sites. The check is ongoing for other sites," the report says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kyiv police previously reported that they had received a number of reports on Friday about mining of state institutions, educational institutions and enterprises in the capital.
The police urged Kyiv residents to remain calm and, if they discover suspicious objects, to immediately call 102.
