Google tax revenues increase by 14% to over UAH 14 billion in 2025

"Google tax" in 2025 brought more than UAH 14.4 billion to the budget, which is 14% more than in 2024 (UAH 12.6 billion).

The acting head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh announced this on her Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

These are funds paid by non-residents who supply electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine and are registered as VAT payers.

In particular:

• EUR 150.1 million;
• USD 177.4 million.

The world's leading digital companies remain the largest taxpayers: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix.

The circle of taxpayers is expanding:

• in 2025, 12 new non-residents registered as VAT payers,
• since the beginning of 2026 - 5 more companies,
• in total, there are already 150 non-residents in Ukraine - VAT payers in the field of electronic services.

As the Ukrainian News Agency reported, the obligation to register as a VAT payer for non-residents arises if, during the last 12 months, the volume of supply of electronic services in Ukraine exceeds the amount equivalent to UAH 1 million.
