Russian troops damaged an important power facility in the Nizhyn District of the Chernihiv Region, leaving hundreds of thousands of consumers without electricity.

It was reported by Chernihivoblenergo.

According to the company, power engineers are already working to restore power supply. At the same time, the agency notes that due to the difficult security situation, the work may take longer than usual.

Chernihivoblenergo emphasized that they are doing everything possible to return electricity to consumers' homes as soon as possible
