Over 1,900 Kyiv high-rise buildings remain without heating - Klitschko
As of Friday morning, January 23, 1,940 high-rise buildings remain without heat supply in the capital.
This was announced by the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He specified that the main part of the problem objects is concentrated on the left bank.
"As of today's morning, another 1,940 high-rise buildings remain without heat supply, which are being connected for the second time after the enemy attacks on January 9 and 20. Most of these buildings are on the left bank of the city, in the Pecherskyi district, some in the Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts," he noted.
He also noted that over the past night, utility workers and power engineers managed to restore heat supply to over 650 buildings. Work to eliminate the consequences continues in an intensified mode.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, large-scale work is underway in Kyiv to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure. As of Thursday morning, January 22, almost 3,000 multi-story buildings in the capital were left without heat supply.
