DGF paid UAH 353 million in guaranteed compensation to depositors of insolvent banks in 2025
In 2025, the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) paid UAH 352.8 million in guaranteed compensation to depositors of banks being withdrawn from the market.
This is stated in the Fund's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Fund settled with all depositors of banks whose withdrawal from the market began after February 24, "Cominvestbank" and JSC "RwS Bank", when withdrawing from the market the payment terms fell precisely during this period.
In particular, UAH 96.6 million was transferred to clients of the insolvent "RwS Bank", or 100% of the amounts of compensation guaranteed by the Fund.
During December 2025, the Fund paid UAH 68.4 million to depositors of banks being liquidated.
In total, since the Fund's establishment, the amount of guaranteed compensation payments has amounted to almost UAH 105.1 billion, with 96.1% of bank depositors receiving compensation.
The Fund pays guaranteed compensation exclusively from its own resources.
As of December 31, 2025, the Fund's funds amounted to UAH 50.62 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, starting from April 13, 2022, during martial law and for three months after its cancellation, a 100% deposit guarantee has been in effect, which applies to term deposits, as well as funds in current accounts of individuals and sole proprietors.
Guaranteed payments can be received through the "Diia" mobile application in a few clicks, through online services and directly at the branches of the Fund's agent banks.
