Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff: 164 combat clashes registered on frontline over last day
Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
A total of 164 combat clashes were registered over the last day.
This is stated in the text of the operational update by the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy conducted 71 air strikes, dropping 189 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 3,644 attacks, including 49 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 7,621 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Zaliznychne, Ternuvate, Rizhvianka, Liubytske, Verkhnia Tersa, Zaporizhzhia Region.
Aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, as well as an ammunition depot of the russian invaders.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled two russian attacks. The enemy carried out three air strikes, dropped three guided aerial bombs and fired 118 times, including nine times from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, our troops stopped 12 enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchansk, Vovchansky Khutory, Chuhunivka, Ambarne, Dehtiarne and in the direction of Kruhle.
Two militants' attacks took place on the Kupiansk axis yesterday. Ukrainian troops repelled the enemy's assault in the direction of Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked four times, trying to break into our defense in the areas of Novovodiane, Kolodiazi and towards Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Dronivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions once in the direction of Minkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy made 18 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian troops stopped 49 aggressor's attacks in the vicinity of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and in the direction of Filiia.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy made five attacks in the vicinity of Zelenyi Hai, Oleksiivka, Stepove and Krasnohirske yesterday.
On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 31 russian attacks in the areas of Solodke, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zelene and in the direction of Varvarivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy tried to break through our defenses six times in the areas of Stepnohirsk, Prymorske and Shcherbaky.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the total number of russian invaders' casualties amounted to 1,130 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defense system, 721 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles and 115 units of occupiers' vehicles.
