Enemy attacked Ukraine with 115 strike UAVs last night - Ukrainian Air Forces' report

On the night of January 17 (from 6 p.m. on January 16), the enemy attacked with 115 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of: Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russian federation, Donetsk - TOT of Ukraine, about 75 of them were Shaheds.

This is stated in the text of an operational message from the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 7:30 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 96 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.

Hit by 16 attack UAVs at 11 locations was recorded, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (wreckage) at two locations.

"The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!", - the Ukrainian Air Forces emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 16, the russians launched 76 strike drones into Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 53 of them.
