Situation with electricity in Kyiv will improve by Thursday - Svyrydenko
On January 9, the russian occupiers carried out one of the largest attacks on the energy infrastructure of Kyiv, a significant improvement in the situation is expected by January 15. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
According to her, the enemy targeted ballistics, in particular, at heat-generating facilities. The situation was further complicated by weather conditions and a significant drop in temperature.
"In the capital, given the scale of the damage, the supply of heat carrier and electricity was restored in record time. At the same time, for objective reasons, planned and emergency shutdown schedules are currently in effect. It takes time to significantly improve the situation in Kyiv - we are focusing on Thursday," Svyrydenko wrote.
The Prime Minister said that the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration was instructed to organize round-the-clock operation of hotlines at the district military administrations of the capital.
"The district heads bear personal responsibility 24/7," she added.

In general, during this week there was not a single day without shelling of energy facilities and critical infrastructure, 44 attacks were recorded. The enemy inflicted the main blows on the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kyiv, including the city of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Kherson Regions.
Recall that in Kyiv, more than 1,000 houses remain without heating.
