Russian occupiers deliberately targeted hospital in Kyiv - SESU

Russian troops carried out a direct attack on a medical facility in Kyiv, the hit occurred at low altitude, which confirms the targeted strike of the Shahed, and not the fall of its remains. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) of Kyiv, Pavlo Petrov, on the air of the KYIV24 TV channel.

At the time of the attack, patients from the intensive care unit were in the hospital. Some of them were connected to artificial lung ventilation devices, which significantly complicated the evacuation after the hit.

Petrov reported that three victims were hospitalized in medical facilities. Two of them were poisoned by combustion products, another woman suffered fatal injuries to the left elbow joint. He noted that it is the victims with poisoning who may be in a more serious condition, but the final assessment of their health should be provided exclusively by doctors.

The death of a man born in 1995, whose body was discovered after the attack, has also been confirmed. It is not yet known which department he was in at the time of the attack.

"The hit occurred on the second floor, we understand that Shaheeds simply do not fly on the second floor in the city. And this is a direct hit on a medical facility, pure terror. And fortunately, thanks to the anti-aircraft forces, we have only one location where rescuers were involved," Pavlo Petrov emphasized.
