Over week, russia launched more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs, almost thousand drones and six missiles - Zelenskyy
This week, the aggressor country russia launched more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs, almost a thousand drones and six missiles at Ukraine. It was stated in a message by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy emphasized that it is very important for Ukraine that the support of its partners continues: defense assistance and strengthening of air defense.
"Almost every day there is a threat to life in Ukraine due to Russian attacks, strikes with various types of weapons against our people. And this week, more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs, almost a thousand attack drones and six missiles were launched by Russia at Ukraine. Everything we agreed on with our partners needs to be activated as much as possible. Every missile to the air defense systems that is now stored somewhere with our partners can really protect lives," the President said.
He added that the stability and predictability of assistance to Ukraine is something that "can really push Moscow to diplomacy."
"We count on further defense assistance and support for the prepared documents on security guarantees from America, Europe and partners in the Coalition of the Willing. I am grateful to everyone in the world who helps diplomacy and all efforts for an honest peace with their strength," Zelenskyy wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the body of a child was found under the rubble of a residential building in Kharkiv, which was hit by the army of the aggressor country russia on January 2 by two ballistic missiles.
