SUV explodes in Kyiv: there are injured

On the morning of Sunday, January 4, an SUV exploded in the Obolonskyi District of Kyiv. There are victims as a result of the incident. It was reported by the Kyiv police in a Telegram post.

"Police are investigating the circumstances of the explosion of an SUV in the Obolonskyi District of the capital. According to preliminary information, there were injuries as a result of the incident. Police units, cynologists, explosive experts and other services have been sent to the scene," it said.

The police noted that more detailed information will be provided later.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, law enforcement officers detained an official of Kyivteploenergo after a 16-year-old girl fell into an unfenced pit of boiling water in the Holosiivskyi District of the capital.

Earlier it was reported that a 20-year-old drunken man committed a robbery in a coffee shop in Kyiv, threatening with a gun and demanding money from the cash register. He failed to get what he wanted, and was stopped by passers-by on his way out of the establishment.
