On the night of Saturday, January 3, russian troops launched 95 attack drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 80 of them.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of January 3 (from 6 p.m. on January 2), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 95 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types and drones of other types from the axes of Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia), Kacha, Chauda, ​​Hvardiiske (all - occupied Crimea); about 60 of them were Shaheds.

"According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m., air defense systems shot down/suppressed 80 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types on the north, south and east of the country," the report says.

15 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 8 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) in two locations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 2, the russians launched 116 strike drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 86 of them.
