Two adjusters of enemy strikes on regions of Ukraine receive life sentences

Two FSB agents, who together were adjusting enemy strikes in three regions of Ukraine, were sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of property. It was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The SSU investigation showed that one of the agents was an immigrant from the Kharkiv Region who came to the attention of the russians during the occupation of the region at the beginning of the full-scale war.

According to the case file, after recruitment, he mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the instructions of the russian special service to spy "from within" the Ukrainian army.

While undergoing training at a training center in the Zhytomyr Region, the agent began to pass on the location of the Defense Forces to the occupiers.

Later, he was appointed a driver of a supply company of an airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sent to the Donetsk Region. There, the agent tracked the coordinates of army depots where the enemy was planning to shell.

Later, he involved his friend from the Odesa Region in cooperation with the FSB. To collect the coordinates of potential "targets", this traitor traveled around the region by public transport and recorded the locations of military facilities.

The agent paid special attention to the location of the Ukrainian air defense systems, which defended the port cities of the Black Sea region.

SSU officers detained both agents in January 2023 as a result of comprehensive measures in Kramatorsk and Podilsk.

During the searches, smartphones with evidence of working for the enemy were seized from the detainees.

According to the materials of the Security Service, both perpetrators were found guilty under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the counterintelligence of the Security Service exposed an FSB agent in Kyiv who was trying to eliminate an officer of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
