Zelenskyy calls US aid critical to Ukraine's victory

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that without US assistance, Ukraine has no chance of winning the war against russia. He stated this in an interview with Fox News.

The most critical need remains for American air defense systems and artillery shells, which allow us to deter the aggressor's onslaught and protect civilians.

"Can we win without American support? No. Without US support, we will not be able to defend the sky, even now it is very difficult," Zelenskyy explained.

According to the President, russia uses thousands of drones and missiles to strike Ukraine every day. In this situation, it is the American missiles for air defense systems that play a crucial role in helping to shoot down enemy targets and save lives.

"On the battlefield, we use artillery and shells that we buy from America. We will not win without it," Zelenskyy said.

Although Ukraine is increasing its own production, it is not yet able to fully replace the military assistance of its strategic partner.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the United States plans to allocate USD 800 million to Ukraine in 2026-2027.
