The left bank of Kyiv has not yet been able to switch to stable schedules of hourly power outages due to the critical condition of the networks and uncontrolled growth in consumption. Yasno CEO Serhii Kovalenko has reported this on his Facebook.

According to him, after massive russian shelling from Friday to Saturday, the capital's power system is operating in extremely difficult conditions. While the right bank of the capital can currently function according to the outage schedules and is already working in this mode, the situation on the left bank is much worse.

Kovalenko noted that power engineers have tried several times to connect the left bank to the schedules, but each time the electricity consumption has increased sharply and exceeded the technical capabilities of the system. As a result, they have to return to emergency blackouts to avoid even more serious accidents.

Yasno's director assured that as soon as it becomes possible to switch to schedules for all Kyiv residents, the power company will do so immediately. He also emphasized that specialists are working continuously to restore the damaged networks and stabilize the power supply, despite the difficult weather conditions.

Earlier, acting energy Minister Artem Nekrasov said that in case of a complete cessation of russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, it will take about two months to return to stable operation of the power system without outage schedules.
