Defense Intelligence shows exclusive footage of special operation in Pokrovsk sector
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has released archival footage of a combat special operation in the Pokrovsk direction, which was carried out in November 2025 by the fighters of the Black Winter Group unit as part of the Defense Intelligence's Tymur Special Forces. This is stated in a message on the Defense Intelligence's website on Wednesday, December 24.
The intelligence service noted that aviation was involved in the mission to quickly deploy troops to a specific area of the frontline where defense was needed. In addition, aerial reconnaissance and FPV masters played an important role in this combat mission, detecting and destroying russian occupants.
"We were able to win precious time so that the main units of the Armed Forces could approach the city to reinforce, so to speak. After that, everyone stopped saying that the city was taken," said Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defense Intelligence.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of December 21, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine hit Su-30 and Su-27 fighters in Lipetsk, russia.
On December 10-11, the Defense Intelligence burned russian expensive targets in the temporarily occupied Crimea - the An-26 multi-purpose military transport aircraft, as well as 55Zh6M Nebo-M radar and 64N6E radar.
