Russian army advancing in Sumy and Donetsk Regions - DeepState
Russian occupation troops have advanced in the Sumy and Donetsk Regions. This is reported by the analytical project DeepState.
According to analysts, the enemy was recorded near the village of Yunakivka, Yunakivka rural community, Sumy district, Sumy Region, as well as near the settlement of Sviato-Pokrovske, Siversk urban community, Bakhmut district, Donetsk Region.
DeepState notes that the changes are recorded on the current map of hostilities and indicate local advancement of russian units in these directions.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that russian military forces took out 52 civilians, including children, from the border village of Hrabovske in the Sumy Region, and also captured 13 servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Prior to this, the publication Kordon.Media reported that on the night of December 20, russian units entered Hrabovske, which is located directly on the state border.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine later confirmed the fact of the russian troops crossing the border near this settlement and reported that stabilization measures were underway on the spot. At the same time, DeepState stated that the group of Ukrainian military personnel holding this area "was irresponsible in fulfilling the assigned tasks, which led to the enemy's entering."
It is also reported that on December 5, in the Siversk Axis, during the capture, russian military personnel shot an AFU soldier. The Operational Command West specified that a serviceman of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss" was recorded on video. According to the command, in the Sviato-Pokrovsky area, the enemy carried out covert infiltration into the combat formations of the Defense Forces, taking advantage of the weather conditions.
Earlier, on December 19, in the north of the Donetsk Region, within the Slovyansk Axis, the russians advanced in the city of Siversk and near the village of Dronivka.
On December 22, it became known that the russian occupation forces had established control over the village of Zvanivka in the Donetsk Region.
