Ukraine receives EUR 2.3 billion under Ukraine Facility financial instrument

The State Budget of Ukraine received EUR 2.3 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility financial instrument.

This is announced in a statement by the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, the Government of Ukraine attracted EUR 2.1 billion in loans and EUR 200 million in grants.

This is the sixth regular tranche provided under Pillar I of the Instrument. The funds will be used to finance the state's priority social and humanitarian expenditures.

The Ukraine Facility support program for Ukraine was launched in 2024 for a period of four years. In total, since 2024, the state budget has already received over EUR 26.7 billion, of which over EUR 10.6 billion in 2025. The total amount of funding provided for by the instrument for Ukraine is about EUR 50 billion.

To receive the next regular tranche from the EU, Ukraine has successfully completed eight reform steps required for the allocation of the sixth tranche, as well as one step foreseen within the framework of the fourth tranche.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the European Union remains the largest donor of financial support to Ukraine - EUR 70.7 billion since February 2022. In 2025 alone, Ukraine received over EUR 28.7 billion in financial assistance from the EU.
