As a result of the massive shelling on the night of December 19, the critical infrastructure of Odesa was hit. In addition, the blast wave caused destruction in residential areas, damaging the homes of civilians. This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak in Telegram.
Due to damage to energy facilities, part of one of the densely populated districts of Odesa was temporarily left without electricity, water and heating.
"Specialists are already working on restoration. At the moment, we have information about one victim of moderate severity. She was taken to a medical facility, where she is being provided with all necessary assistance," the message says.
All necessary municipal services are working on the spot. Currently, an assessment of the extent of damage to housing is being carried out and information is being collected to provide further assistance to residents. The city authorities note that municipal Invincibility Points throughout the city continue to work around the clock, providing citizens with everything they need.
As a reminder, DTEK reported that the power supply to the Odesa Region has been restored for almost everyone, but the network is operating in extreme mode.
