All you’ll get is just an empty hole of a bagel - Ukraine's Permanent Representative to UN responds to russia's demands
Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Andrii Melnyk said that Ukrainian territory and sovereignty are not for sale. He conveyed a message to the aggressor state of russia in the form of a "bagel hole."
This is stated in a fragment of Melnyk's speech published on X.
Melnyk emphasized that Ukrainian territory and sovereignty are not for sale: "We are not at a Christmas bazaar. We are not at the infamous Cherkizovsky market (a large clothing market in eastern moscow - ed.)."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on energy facilities in the territory of the aggressor country russia if moscow agrees to do the same.
Meanwhile, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that at a certain moment in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, there were no units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
