In November, the population bought USD 724.2 million more in currency than it sold, which is 3% less than in October.
This is stated in the reporting data of the National Bank, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In the cash foreign exchange market, in November, the population's net purchases of currency exceeded sales.
In November, Ukrainians sold currencies for USD 1,356.1 million in equivalent, and bought for USD 2,080.3 million in equivalent.
In 2024, the population bought USD 11,054.4 million more than it sold.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, the population bought USD 3,362.1 million more than it sold.
According to the results of 2022, the population bought currencies by USD 1,009.5 million more than it sold.
In 2021, the population sold currencies by USD 1,214.7 million more than it bought.
The National Bank has introduced managed exchange rate flexibility from October 3, 2023. The NBU has abolished all currency restrictions on the import of works and services and allowed the repatriation of "new" dividends.
