The aggressor country russia has deployed a group of troops along the front line in Ukraine, which is more than 710,000 people. At the same time, russians lose more than a thousand soldiers killed or wounded every day

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi stated this in an interview with the British edition of Sky News.

According to him, the length of the front line is now about 1,250 kilometers. A 710-thousand-strong group of the occupation army is operating along it.

"At this stage, the Russian army is trying to advance almost along the entire front line," Syrskyi said.

Asked where the most fierce clashes are taking place, Syrskyi said that these are the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions. We are talking about Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, as well as the outskirts of Lyman and Huliaipole.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the strategy of the Ukrainian army is to inflict maximum losses on the occupiers in order to exhaust them. In addition, Ukrainian forces are focused on preventing the advance of the russian army, preventing its breakthrough into the depths and conducting counter-offensive actions in those sectors where it is possible to identify the enemy's vulnerability.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 5, the DeepState analytical project said that the russian army advanced near three settlements in the north of the Donetsk Region.

Also today, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have conducted another strike on strategic targets in the russian federation. An oil refinery and a seaport were hit.
