White House launches page exposing media outlets that allegedly spread fake news

The White House has launched a special section on its official website with a list of media outlets whose materials it calls "misleading" or "biased." It is worth noting that the list includes leading US and British media outlets.

The page lists media outlets with journalists who the White House considers "misleading" and "biased" or simply "fake news." The Trump administration announced the exposure this week of the British The Independent, the American The Boston Globe and CBC News.

"The media misinterpreted President Trump's call to prosecute members of Congress for sedition by saying he called for their 'execution,'" the White House said in a statement.
