Russians launched 36 missiles and almost 600 drones at night in Ukraine - Air Force report shooting down
For a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of November 29, the russian troops launched 596 drones and 36 missiles of various types. Three residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv Region were killed.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military managed to neutralize 558 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types and drones of other types. As well as:
- one of five Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
- 12 of 23 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- all four Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- two of four Kh-59/69 guided aviation missiles.
Missiles and 35 strike drones hit 22 places, and debris fell in 17 more.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the main target of the russian attack that night was Kyiv and the Kyiv Region.
In particular, the capital was under fire for over 10 hours. Enemy strikes claimed the lives of three people, and over 30 more residents of Kyiv and the region were injured, including a child.
In Kyiv, half a million people were left without electricity after the attack. Almost 30 people have already been injured.
