A Ukrainian delegation, including Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia, has left for the US to discuss the peace plan promoted by President Donald Trump.

Bloomberg reports this, citing its sources.

It is noted that Ukrainian representatives will meet with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner in Florida.

Bloomberg clarifies that it is Witkoff who is to lead the American delegation at the talks in russia next week.

"According to a recording obtained by Bloomberg, a telephone conversation between Witkoff and a senior Kremlin official last month showed that Trump's Special Envoy suggested they work together on a plan for Ukraine," the publication notes.

Earlier, as Ukrainian News Agency reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, and representatives of Ukrainian intelligence will represent Ukraine at negotiations with the United States on a peace plan next week.
