Huliaipole was one step away from being captured, but military managed to stabilize situation - DeepState

The army of the aggressor country of russia was close to establishing control over Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia Region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to stabilize the situation and prevent the occupation of the settlement.

The analytical project DeepState reported this on Thursday, November 27.

The deterioration of the situation began with the loss of the settlements of Uspenivka and Poltavka, located to the northeast and east of Huliaipole. The Ukrainian Defense Forces made attempts to regain control over the lost positions, but they were successful.

Against this background, the command instructed one of the units of the Assault Forces to strengthen new lines south of the settlement of Novouspenivske. To its right was the 102nd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, which relatively successfully restrained the invaders.

The turning point came later, when the russians managed to break through the defenses of one of the adjacent units of the 102nd Brigade of the Ukrainian Army. Because of this, small groups of enemy infantry infiltrated the flank and rear. At the same time, one of the battalions of the 102nd Brigade lost control. The fighters were practically abandoned to their fate. Not understanding what to do, they decided to leave their occupied positions. Almost two companies began to withdraw in small groups from the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai and Vysoke (Chervone).

Due to the chaos that arose, cases of friendly fire were recorded. After clarifying the situation, the command sent additional cover groups. Five servicemen from such a group were captured by the invaders and shot near the village of Zelenyi Hai.

All this time, the sabotage groups of the invaders were in the actual rear of the Ukrainian military. This led to the fact that the russians were able to enter the rear of the UAV operator group. The occupiers captured four fighters, interrogated them and shot them.

DeepState emphasized that as of now the situation has been stabilized - the advance of the occupiers has significantly slowed down, and the Ukrainian military has set up a new line of defense.

Due to the public outcry, law enforcement agencies and the military ombudsman have been involved in the events. They must assess the situation and determine the real circumstances of the events.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier today, November 27, DeepState analysts stated that the russian army had occupied the village of Zelenyi Hai. The occupiers also advanced near two neighboring settlements.

As we recall, on November 22, the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine denied the occupiers' statements about the alleged encirclement of Huliaypole. The command added that the direction had been reinforced with additional units.
