There are signals that the Trump team hears us - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva, Ukraine will receive signals that Washington hears Kyiv.

The head of state stated this in his video address published on social networks.

"The Ukrainian delegation in Geneva has already held a number of meetings: with the American side, as well as with our European partners. Now there was a report from the delegation on the results of the talks, and these were meaningful conversations. A lot is changing: we are working very carefully on the steps necessary to end the war," Zelenskyy said.

"It is important that there is a conversation with American representatives, and there are signals that President Trump's team hears us," Zelenskyy emphasized.

The head of state noted that Ukraine never wanted war and will never be an obstacle to peace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who heads the American delegation at the talks in Geneva, said that changes are being made to Trump's "peace plan".

We also wrote that European representatives brought an alternative to the US "peace plan" to Geneva. It consists of more than 20 points and is more favorable to Ukraine than the American plan.
