Onistrat: Assault troops holding frontline when there is critical shortage of people
Assault troops remain the key force currently holding back the advance of the russian army. A well-known banker and officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Onistrat announced this on the talk show "UP|Chat" on Ukrainska Pravda.
"Assault troops are the only way to hold the front line now. I know exactly the units that are now in the assault troops, I understand how they are trained. And I understand the numbers that come to the army and the losses we suffer," he said.
Also, according to Onistrat, the current problems at the front arise not because of the Commander-in-Chief, but because of a critical shortage of personnel.
"We don't have the people to fill the 30 or 40 thousand soldiers that the army needs today. And no replacement of Syrskyi with anyone will change the situation," Onistrat believes.
We would like to remind you that units of assault troops are now concentrated and fighting in the Novopavlivka, Oleksandrivka and Huliaipillia directions of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
