There is no encirclement - Defense Forces refute fakes about Huliaipole direction

The situation in the Huliaipole sector remains tense, but the information about the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian units and the work of "barrier troops" is fake. The command assured that there is communication with the soldiers, and reinforcement from assault units has already been sent to the area.

This is stated in the message on the page of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.

The military reported that the enemy did not reduce fire pressure. In particular, ten combat clashes took place near the settlements of Yablukove and Rivnopillia over the past day.

Against the backdrop of the escalation, false information about the encirclement and blocking of the retreat of Ukrainian forces began to spread in social networks.

"Information is being spread... about the alleged presence of barrier troops that block our units and do not allow them to withdraw. This information is untrue and openly aimed at discrediting the military command," the Defense Forces emphasized.

The command recognizes that the situation is difficult, but assures that it maintains stable communication with the soldiers, has established logistics and is evacuating the wounded.

A decision has been made to strengthen the defense: "Our units fighting in this area are being reinforced with assault units."

The military has urged to trust only trusted sources and not to succumb to information attacks of the enemy.
