Wreckage of russian Iskander damages Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the building of the Azerbaijani embassy was damaged as a result of the russian night attack on Kyiv.
He informed about this on Facebook.
The President clarified that the embassy building was damaged by the fragments of the russian Iskander missile.
"A specially calculated attack to harm people and civilian infrastructure as much as possible. In Kyiv alone, dozens of high-rise buildings have been destroyed," he added.
Zelenskyy also noted that the enemy also attacked the Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa Regions. According to preliminary data, in the morning the russians used a Zircon missile in the Sumy Region.
"Ukraine is responding to these attacks with long-range force, and the world must stop these attacks against life with sanctions. Russia can still sell oil and build its schemes. This must be stopped. A lot of work is being done with partners to strengthen air defense, but not enough. We need additional systems and interceptor missiles. Europe and the United States can help. We are counting on real solutions. I thank everyone who helps," he summarized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the death toll from the combined russian attack in Kyiv on the night of November 14 has increased to four people and 27 wounded.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed, that russia launched a combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using 430 attack UAVs (about 300 were Shaheds) and 19 missiles (13 of them were ballistic missiles).
