Mindich crossed border and left Ukraine legally - State Border Guard Service
Tymur Mindich left Ukraine at one of the checkpoints in accordance with the current legislation and left the country legally. It was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, November 12.
The SBGS conducted an internal inspection of Mindich after a media outcry about his alleged illegal border crossing and escape from Ukraine.
"According to the results of the inspection, we note that this citizen crossed the border legally. He was issued a border permit to leave Ukraine at one of the checkpoints in accordance with the current legislation. All the documents that give the right to cross the border during martial law were available," the statement said.
In addition, Mindich had no bans on leaving the country, the SBGS emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 11, Kvartal 95 studio announced that their co-founder Tymur Mindich was suspected of a corruption scheme in the energy sector, has nothing to do with the studio, its content or team.
As a reminder, on November 10, NABU detectives came with searches to the house of the businessman, co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio Tymur Mindich, Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko and Energoatom.
