In October, population up net purchase of currency twice to USD 747 million

In October, the population bought USD 746.8 million more in currency than it sold, which is almost 2 times more than in September.

This is stated in the reporting data of the National Bank, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In the cash foreign exchange market, in October, the net purchase of currency by the population exceeded sales.

In October, Ukrainians sold currency for USD 1,501.4 million in equivalent, and bought for USD 2,248.2 million in equivalent.

In 2024, the population bought USD 11,054.4 million more than it sold.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, the population bought USD 3,362.1 million more than it sold.

According to the results of 2022, the population bought currencies by USD 1,009.5 million more than it sold.

In 2021, the population sold currencies by USD 1,214.7 million more than it bought.
