Russian Central Bank acknowledges economic problems - Center for Countering Disinformation
The Central Bank of the aggressor country russia is already recognizing economic problems. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
So, after several quarters of slowing growth, the russian economy is at risk of falling - the Central Bank has already openly stated this. According to official data, in July-September 2025, GDP grew by only 0.6% against 4.5% at the end of last year.
The reason is the depletion of the military economy. Industries not related to the military-industrial complex are falling, exports are declining, and domestic demand is weakening due to inflation and high interest rates.
"Instead of 'overheating', the economy has actually stopped: most companies are operating in the red, and businesses are losing financial stability. Despite the government's attempts to demonstrate stability, even official figures show that the Russian economy is entering a recession that can no longer be hidden," the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine noted that the russian economy is entering a phase when even official statistics are no longer able to hide the scale of the problems.
Also, according to the Center for reported, the problems of the russian economy caused by the war with Ukraine and sanctions have led to the fact that russians started eating less.
