Occupants launch 45 missiles and 458 UAVs at Ukraine - AFU Air Forces tell about combined russia's attack

On the night of November 8 (from 6.30 p.m. on November 7), the enemy launched a combined attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using attack UAVs, air, land and sea-based missiles.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

In total, the Air Forces' radio engineering troops detected and escorted 503 air attack vehicles - 45 missiles (32 of them are ballistic missiles) and 458 UAVs of various types (about 300 are Shaheds):

- 458 attack UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types (other types of drones) from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (russia), Hvardiiske (TOT of Crimea);

- 25 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (from the Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov Oblasts - russia);

- 10 Iskander-K cruise missiles (from the Kursk, Voronezh Oblasts - russia);

- 7 X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles (from the Tambov Oblast - russia);

- 3 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the Black Sea).

The main areas of attack were the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava Regions.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 10.00 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 415 air targets:

- 406 attack UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera type (other types of drones);

- 9 missiles of various types.

"So far, 26 missiles and 52 attack UAVs have hit 25 locations and the downed ones (wreckage) have fallen at 4 locations in different regions of Ukraine. In addition, as of 10:00 a.m., information on the fall / hit of 10 enemy missiles is being clarified," the Air Forces added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of November 7, the russians launched 128 drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 94 drones.
