Volume of trading on PFTS increases by 10% to UAH 84.6 billion in October
In October 2025, the total volume of trading on the PFTS amounted to UAH 84.6 billion (110% of the previous month's level), or 78% of the total volume of trading by organizers of securities trading in Ukraine.
This is stated in the exchange's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In January-October 2025, the total volume of trading on the PFTS amounted to UAH 718 billion (177% of the level of the same period in 2024), or 80% of the total volume of trading by organizers of securities trading in Ukraine.
In the trading structure for October, the share of Ukrainian government bonds was 77.5% (UAH 65.5 billion, or 116% of the previous month's level), currency swaps - 17.1% (UAH 14.5 billion, or 93% of the previous month's level), foreign government bonds - 4.9% (UAH 4.2 billion, or 104% of the previous month's level), corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 0.3% (UAH 0.25 billion, or 56.2% of the previous month's level), CII securities - 0.2% (UAH 0.2 billion, or 65% of the previous month's level), shares of foreign issuers - 0.001% (UAH 0.7 million, or 4% of the previous month's level) and shares of Ukrainian issuers - 0.001% (UAH 0.4 million, or 238% of the previous month's level).
In October, 9.3% of transactions were concluded on the order market, 82.5% of transactions on the quotation market (including address transactions), 4.7% of transactions in the REPO and REPO with risk control regimes, 3.3% of transactions in the SWAP with risk control regime, and 0.1% of transactions at unilateral auctions, where initial placements of corporate bonds took place last month.
In October 2025, 43 trading participants concluded transactions with 95 securities issues (52 government domestic loan bonds, 9 corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 8 government foreign loan bonds, 8 shares of foreign issuers, 7 CII securities, 6 foreign bonds, 3 shares of Ukrainian issuers, and 2 currency swaps).
In January-October 2025, 53 trading participants concluded deals with 202 issues of securities. Government domestic loan bonds - 83, government foreign loan bonds - 9, bonds of foreign countries - 33, shares of foreign issuers - 29, corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 22, shares of Ukrainian issuers - 12, CII securities - 9, bonds of foreign issuers - 3 and currency swaps - 2.
Since June 17, 2024, trading in currency swaps began in the PFTS trading system.
In October 2025, deals were concluded with currency swaps "US dollar - Ukrainian hryvnia" (ticker: USDUAH) and "euro - Ukrainian hryvnia" (ticker: EURUAH).
The total trading volume of the above swaps amounted to UAH 14.5 billion (17.1% of the total trading volume, or 93% of the previous month's level).
Among the 52 issues of government domestic loan bonds with which transactions were concluded in October, 4 issues had maturity dates in 2025 (UAH 5 billion), 19 issues had maturity dates in 2026 (UAH 20.3 billion), 20 issues had maturity dates in 2027 (UAH 22.5 billion), 6 issues had maturity dates in 2028 (UAH 10.9 billion) and 3 issues had maturity dates in 2029 (UAH 5.2 billion).
From July 26, 2022, trading in government domestic loan bonds of Ukraine denominated in foreign currency, in the currency of the nominal value, began on the PFTS.
In October 2025, the volume of exchange contracts with government domestic loan bonds executed in the nominal currency amounted to USD 35.8 million and EUR 2 million (1.9% of the total trading volume).
As of November 1, 2025, the number of members of JSC "PFTS Stock Exchange" admitted to trading was 54: 29 banks and 25 financial companies.
A new participant in PFTS trading in October was LLC "INVEST-M" (EDRPOU - 23508273, participant code in the PFTS trading system - INVSM).
As of November 1, 2025, 402 issues of financial instruments were admitted to trading on JSC "PFTS Stock Exchange", of which 112 issues of securities were in the Exchange Register.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in September 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 76.8 billion (113% of the previous month's level), or 75% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
The PFTS index has been the official index of Ukraine in S&P Emerging Markets since 1997.
