Ukraine receives batch of Storm Shadow cruise missiles from UK - Bloomberg
The United Kingdom has recently handed over a batch of Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine so that the Ukrainian military can continue to strike targets on the territory of the aggressor country russia.
Bloomberg reported this, citing its own sources.
The unnamed interlocutors said that the delivery of an unspecified number of missiles was carried out in order to ensure that Ukraine was provided with supplies before the winter, when, according to London, the russian army will intensify attacks on civilian targets.
The UK government does not disclose how many Storm Shadow missiles have been provided to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale russian invasion. The number of missiles delivered last time also remains unknown.
Bloomberg notes that the UK's move comes after the US president once again ruled out the possibility of providing Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 22, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the United States has lifted a key restriction on Ukraine, which prohibited it from using Storm Shadow missiles to strike at the russian territory.
In early October, the media reported that the United States plans to provide Ukraine with intelligence in order to increase the effectiveness of Ukrainian strikes deep into russia.
