Ukrainian Neptuns hit enemy's rear: military facilities in Oryol knocked out of power
On the night of October 31, the Ukrainian military launched a successful missile strike on a combined heat and power plant (CHPP) in Oryol, russia.
This was reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack was carried out with Neptun cruise missiles. The Novobryansk electrical substation was also hit.
Both facilities provided power to military enterprises in the region, so their incapacitation was a serious blow to the logistics of the occupiers.
"The Ukrainian military continues to demonstrate that no enemy rear is safe," the Navy emphasized.
What is known about the strike on the Oryol CHPP
On the night of October 31, Ukrainian drones attacked a CHPP in the city of Oryol, russia.

According to OSINT analysis, the first strike hit an open switchgear - part of an electrical substation or power unit where electricity from generators is distributed along lines. After that, the city lost power. The russian Defense Ministry reported that russian air defenses allegedly shot down nine Ukrainian drones in the Oryol Oblast.
The Oryol CHPP is the largest source of electricity and heat in the region, providing the city with both electricity and hot water.
