Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy latest Buk-M3 and hit russians' Nebo-U radar

On the night of September 28, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's counterinsurgency movement in the russian federation, Black Spark, disabled the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system and the Nebo-U early warning radar in the Rostov Oblast of russia.

It was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of September 28, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Black Spark insurgency in Russia, conducted special measures, which resulted in the disabling of two critical elements of the enemy air defense system. In the Rostov Oblast, the BUK-M3 anti-aircraft missile system and the NEBO-U early warning radar station were turned into scrap metal," the statement said.

It is noted that the cost of each of the complexes is measured in several hundred million dollars.

Buk-M3 is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 80 km, and Nebo-U can detect fighters at a distance of up to 400 km.

"Both systems posed a great threat to the work of Ukrainian combat aviation in the frontline zone and prevented Ukrainian "deep strike" strikes, but these particular systems will no longer be used," the SOF summarized.

As a reminder, earlier, on the night of October 17, The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck with attack drones the oil depot in Hvardiiske and the State Enterprise "Hvardiiskyi" in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
