Foreign Ministry announces that it had invited White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to Ukraine

Ukraine has invited US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, as well as a number of other senior American officials, to visit Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha during a joint press conference with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna in Kyiv, FREEDOM reports.

It is noted that the invitation for US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and other American allies to Ukraine is always open.

"The Ukrainian side has invited senior American officials to visit Ukraine. Witkoff also received such an invitation. We are always happy to welcome our American friends to Ukraine. In general, no additional invitation is needed for our American allies, it always remains open," Sybiha said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yermak met with Witkoff in New York and invited Trump's Special Envoy to Ukraine.

It was previously reported that US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, after meeting with vladimir putin in Moscow on August 6, briefed Donald Trump on alleged "significant territorial concessions" by the Kremlin. This information quickly became the basis for declaring "historic progress" and preparing for the summit in Alaska. However, Witkoff misunderstood the russian dictator.
