Russia has fired 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 Kinzhals at Ukraine since beginning of year - Zelenskyy
Since the beginning of 2025, russia has fired about 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles at Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The President noted that this night russia attacked Ukraine with dozens of attack drones and nine ballistic missiles.
In particular, there was a missile strike on Kyiv.
It is known that, there are deaths, dozens of people were also injured.
"And almost every attack against our people is a combined strike with ballistics. Since the beginning of this year alone, Russia has fired about 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 Kinzhals at Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
He added that it is because of such attacks that the Ukrainian authorities are paying special attention to Patriot systems in order to be able to protect cities from ballistics.
"It is very important that partners who have the opportunity implement what we have been talking about in recent days... We need to continue cooperation. Everything can be done: partners have the necessary systems, and they can help protect Ukraine right now," he stressed.
The head of state added that America, Europe, and the G7 countries can help ensure that such strikes no longer threaten the lives of Ukrainians.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Saturday, October 25, russian troops launched 62 drones and 9 Iskander-M ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 50 drones and 4 missiles.
Five ballistic missiles and 12 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed aircraft (fragments) at 4 locations.
