Armed Forces of Ukraine record 141 combat clashes on frontlines over last day - AFU General Staff
Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy
In total, 141 combat clashes were registered over the last day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile and 67 air strikes, used three missiles and dropped 141 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,534 attacks, including 74 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,707 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of population centers: Kharkiv in the Kharkiv Region; Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk Region; Nechaivka, Andriivka, Bratske, Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk Region; Sadove in the Kherson Region; Zmiienkove in the Odesa Region; Olhivka in the Kherson Region
During the last day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and an enemy artillery unit.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack of the invaders yesterday. The enemy also carried out three air strikes, using six guided aerial bombs, and made 181 attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 14 times near Vovchansk, Odradne, Bolohivka and Kamianka.
Four attacks took place on the Kupiansk axis yesterday. Ukrainian troops repelled the enemy's assault in the vicinity of Stepova Novoselivka and towards Pishchane.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked ten times. They tried to break through the defense near the settlements of Karpivka, Serednie, Myrne, Drobysheve and Shandryholove.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy made five attempts to break through in the areas of Vyimky, Serebrianka and towards Dronivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupants attacked once in the vicinity of Pereizne.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 52 aggressor's assault actions in the areas of Nykanorivka, Maiak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Horikhove and Dachne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy carried out 22 attacks near the localities of Zelenyi Hai, Filiia, Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Novohryhorivka, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Vyshneve and Novovasylivske.
On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian troops repelled one attempt by enemy units to advance in the vicinity of Okhotnyche.
The defense forces repelled six attacks by the occupation forces on the Orikhiv axis, near Stepove and in the direction of Novoandriivka and Novodanylivka.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy made three unsuccessful offensive attempts.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian invaders suffered 910 personnel losses over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized four tanks, one armored combat vehicle, 15 artillery systems, 359 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles and 80 units of occupiers' vehicles.
