6 people, including 2 children, killed in russian attack on Ukraine - Zelenskyy

Six people, including two children, were killed in a russian night attack on Ukraine. At least 17 injured. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on his Telegram channel.

"Another night that proves that russia does not feel enough pressure for prolonging the war. Our air defense forces, mobile fire groups, and drone interceptor crews worked all night and morning. Ordinary cities were hit, mainly our energy sector, but there were also many hits on residential buildings," the report says.

The city of Kyiv, the Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, and Sumy Regions were affected.

"Russian words about diplomacy mean nothing until russian leaders feel critical problems. And this can only be ensured by sanctions, only by long-range and only by coordinated diplomacy of all our partners. It is high time to adopt a strong sanctions package of the European Union. We also count on strong sanctions steps from the United States and the G7, all those who seek peace. It is very important that the world does not remain silent right now and that there is a joint response to the vile attacks of the russians," the President added.
