Son of Belarusian presidential candidate killed in Ukraine
Ivan Us, the son of a presidential candidate in Belarus, was killed in the war against Ukraine as part of the russian occupation army. It was reported by the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, October 21, citing the independent Belarusian news agency Belsat.
On January 17, 2025, Ivan Us signed a contract with the russian occupation army and went to war in Ukraine, and 2 months later went missing. In October 2025, Us was identified in one of the remains of the bodies handed over to the Russian side
"In the mid-2010s, Belarusian Ivan Us was the administrator of the pro-Russian organization Anti-Maidan Minsk on the Vkontakte social network. In the same year, his father, Dmitry, ran for the presidency of Belarus and received a meager 0.4% of the vote," the report says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Region the russian lieutenant Vasily Marzoev, the son of the commander of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the russian federation, General Arkady Marzoev, was liquidated.
A russian propagandist Ivan Zuyev was killed in the Zaporizhzhia Region as a result of a drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia Region.
