Long-range sanctions working to bring russia back to reality - Zelenskyy on strikes on refineries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian long-range strikes are becoming more powerful and accurate, and the regular destruction of russian oil refineries is forcing the Kremlin to "return to reality."

"There is an increase in both the distance and accuracy of our long-range sanctions against russia. In fact, every day or two, there is a destruction of russian oil refineries. And this is working to bring russia back to reality," the head of state emphasized.

According to Zelenskyy, the situation on the front remains under control, in particular in the Pokrovsk Axis, near Kupyansk, as well as in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia Regions.

The President thanked the units that are successful in the Kupyansk Axis - the 13th Operational Brigade of the National Guard, the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, the 127th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, as well as units of the Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), and the Military Law Enforcement Service.
