Russian military personnel losses for October 17 increased by 1,150 to 1,129,180 people, and Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1 tank, 2 armored combat vehicles, 41 artillery systems and 498 drones over the past day.

This is stated in a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Thus, the enemy lost 1 aircraft (total – 428), 1 tank (total – 11,267), 2 armored combat vehicles (total – 23,396), 41 artillery systems (total – 33,789), 2 units of rocket artillery (total – 1,522), 131 units of automotive equipment and tankers (total – 64,672), 2 units of special equipment (total – 3,989) and 498 drones (total – 71,523) per day.

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,228 air defense systems, 3,864 cruise missiles, 427 aircraft, 346 helicopters, 28 ships/boats and 1 submarine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on October 16 increased by 730 to 1,128,030 people, and equipment losses increased by 10 armored vehicles, 35 artillery systems, and 588 UAVs.
