President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is making "detailed preparations" for a conversation with US President Donald Trump. According to him, there are already "outlines of decisions" regarding Patriot and Tomahawk.

He said this in an evening address, the press service of the President's Office quoted him as saying.

The President said that he had made detailed preparations for the conversation with Trump. In particular, Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Energy, the head of Naftogaz, and the Presidential Administration team.

"We have already discussed certain things with President Trump - there are outlines of solutions that can help - regarding Petriots, Tomahawks, which is very important, and some other weapons. It is important to discuss sensitive things with us in person - you can't say everything over the phone," he said.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of American leadership and Trump himself and added that meetings with representatives of American defense and energy companies are planned.

"Of course, our key task is air defense and the resilience of our cities and communities, as well as forcing Russia to peace. There is a very strong impetus for peace in the world right now, after the agreements that have been reached in the Middle East," he emphasized and noted the role of the US President and other leaders.

According to him, this shows that russia can be "pressed" to stop its aggression.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker said that the United States would make an important statement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine on October 15.
