Ukraine's air defense is about 74% effective, but additional efforts are needed to cover the rear energy sector, critical infrastructure, and logistics, analyzed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

General Oleksandr Syrskyi said this on social media following a working meeting.

"We are facing new challenges ahead. Over the past month, the enemy has increased the number of air strikes by 1.3 times. And although our air defense is about 74% effective, we have to make additional efforts to cover the rear energy sector, critical infrastructure and logistics.

The enemy is paying dearly for continuing the war of aggression against Ukraine. We are making progress in implementing the DeepStrike program. Last month, the number of strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation was brought to 70. In particular, oil refining in Russia was reduced by 21%.

We are intensifying the creation of a new kind of troops - unmanned air defense systems as part of the Air Forces. We are improving the system of assault troops. We are forming the command of the Cyber Forces," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

Syrskyi reported that in September, russian losses amounted to 28,500.

According to the Ukrainian News agency, on the night of October 11, the enemy launched 78 UAVs, 54 of which were recognized by the Air Forces as shot down or suppressed.
