Russians attack Poltava Region with drones at night. Civilian infrastructure under attack
On the night of Tuesday, October 7, russian occupants attacked the Poltava Region using a UAV. Civilian infrastructure facilities came under attack. The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the administrative building, warehouses and rolling stock of the railway infrastructure were damaged as a result of the fall of the UAV debris and direct hits. Fires broke out and were extinguished by the SESU units.
An energy facility was also damaged. 28 legal entities and 1,070 household consumers were left without electricity.
In addition, a private house was damaged by the debris.
"Fortunately, in all cases there were no casualties," Kohut added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of October 3, russian occupiers struck at energy facilities in the Poltava Region. There were no casualties, but there was damage and destruction.
